ADAIR Engineering is seeking qualified applicants for the following positions:

Electrical Engineer

Responsibilities

  • Design electrical systems, calculate loads and analysis for industrial equipment.
  • Support integrated team to develop design and construction documentation, including plans and reports.
  • Review shop drawings and prepare site observation reports.
  • Communicate, both verbally and in written form, in a professional manner.

Requirements

  • Electrical PE License, CA
  • At least 5-7 years of experience in electrical engineering for industrial installations such as pump stations, storage tanks, metering stations, large equipment and terminals.
  • ETAP experience, Load Flow, Short Circuit and Arc Flash.
  • Experienced with creating electrical construction plans.
  • Experience with control systems and control logic.
  • Successful candidate shall also have excellent communication skills and demonstrated ability to work with team members and client personnel.

Nice to have

  • Prior electrical engineering experience with oil and gas refining, petrochemical plant, chemical plant, power plant, food and beverage.

Job Location:  Central Coast, CA or Central Valley, CA
Job Status:  Part time, leading to full time

Pay rate is based on experience.

Civil Engineer (Civil/Structural)

Responsibilities

  • Design structures, calculate loads and stresses for industrial equipment and associated foundations.
  • Analyze survey reports, maps, drawings, blueprints and other topographical or geologic data to plan projects.
  • Compute load and grade requirements, water flow rates and material stress factors to determine design specifications.
  • Communicate, both verbally and in written form, in a professional manner.

Requirements

  • Civil PE License, CA
  • Strong ability to perform AutoCAD drafting and 3D drafting.
  • At least 5-7 years of experience in civil engineering for industrial installations such as pump stations, storage tanks, metering stations, large equipment and terminals.
  • Civil 3D experience, pulling in points, creating topos, creating surfaces.
  • Experienced with creating grading plans and erosion control plans.
  • Foundation design experience using ENERCALC, LIMCON.
  • Successful candidate shall also have excellent communication skills and demonstrated ability to work with team members and client personnel.

Nice to have

  • Prior civil engineering experience with oil and gas refining, petrochemical plant, chemical plant, power plant
  • Experience with the following: CADWorx Suite; Intergraph PV-Elite, CAESAR II; PIPEFLO.
  • SE license, QSP, QSD.
